Therapist for Women in Denville | Online Across New Jersey + New York

Things in your life are shifting, and you want to feel more grounded in who you are.

I work with women who are…

  • Highly driven, ambitious, and have found much professional success but now want to grow in their personal lives

  • First-time moms or moms-to-be

  • Struggling with infertility or grieving the loss of a pregnancy

  • Living with the memories of a traumatic event—like abuse, neglect, or a traumatic birth experience

  • Dealing with anxiety and relationship issues

  • Therapists, and struggling to separate their stories from their clients’

My approach

Together, we’ll get in touch with what you’re feeling and learn to move through it.

When we’re working together, you can count on me to bring a grounded, straightforward approach. I value honesty and being upfront, so if I notice a pattern in what you're sharing or sense you might be holding something back, I'll check in with you about it and ask if you're open to hearing my perspective. I’m comfortable playing devil’s advocate when it feels like it might help us explore things from a fresh angle.

You’re sharing your stories with me, and I don’t take that lightly. I want to help you make progress, and the first step toward understanding what you need is to listen compassionately and validate your feelings and experiences—especially the ones you might rather brush off or downplay. My goal is to meet you where you are and guide you deeper to address the roots of the struggles you’re currently facing.

My background brings together somatic work, trauma-informed practices, insights from psychodynamic therapy, and years of experience as a yoga teacher, which taught me how closely the body and mind work together.

I bring that depth to our sessions, keeping us grounded on the path to self-discovery and healing. I’m also deeply committed to learning—often seeking out new techniques or a deeper understanding of trauma—and I bring this knowledge into our work so you can feel confident and secure that you’re getting the most relevant care.

My Methods

  • In Somatic Experiencing, we tune into sensations in your body to help you work through tough emotions. Maybe you feel your fists wanting to clench or a rush of heat when you’re angry—by noticing and being present with these sensations, we take away their power over you. It’s about releasing the energy tied to old pain or fear, so it no longer feels overwhelming.

  • Imagine your mind is made up of different parts, like characters in a story—maybe there’s a caregiver part, a worker part, an angry part, and many more. We’ll get to know these parts (even the ones you might not like), find out how they see their role in your life, and what they’re trying to protect you from or help you with. By working with these parts instead of against them, you can release them from their burdens and feel less conflicted within yourself.

  • In psychodynamic therapy, we explore how your past relationships and early experiences still shape your present—how you connect with others, respond to conflict, or seek security. Often, patterns from our early years show up in unexpected ways in our current lives. By understanding this, we can work to uncover and heal those deeper layers, so you can build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
